Emma Rogers

Joe Santaniello is one of the most special people I know. He is a gifted musician and an inspired educator. His dedication to teaching the next generation of performers is a remarkable thing. For the five years I studied voice with him, he acted as not only my voice teacher but as my therapist, my life coach, my mentor, and my friend, too—he is a truly dedicated voice teacher who puts his students before himself more often than not. Joe is a genuinely caring person and studying with him has bettered me immensely as a singer, an actor, a teacher, a colleague, and as a performer. From my years in the studio I developed a solid classical technique, and learned about all aspects of performing. I learned offstage abilities such as directing and teaching, professional skills like auditioning and interviewing, invaluable knowledge of musicianship, theory, and sight reading, and more. I cannot recommend Joe any more highly.
