Katerina Karaiskos

I started studying voice at the tender age of ten, making me one of Joe’s very first students. I know that I would not be the performer or person I am today without him. Joe’s guidance has allowed my vocal range, vocal knowledge, musicality, and confidence to grow tremendously. When I first started studying, my range was limited to a single octave. Now, I can move more fluidly through a four-octave range, which allows me more opportunities both solo-wise and in group settings.

Joe is an exceptional teacher who goes out of his way to ensure that his students are on a path to consistent success. Even after eight years, we would still make new discoveries every lesson! Between my musical theatre pieces, classical repertoire, and multiple languages, I never stopped learning. Because of my exposure to the mechanics and inner scientific workings of the voice, I became inspired to pursue a career as an ENT.
